2026 Lunar New Year Parade and Festival
Orange County Great Park, Irvine, CA

The Asian American Museum at Great Park is building a cultural home for stories, history, and community.
To preserve the integrity of our cultural past while honoring the voices of those who shaped it.
To provide a vibrant cultural home that celebrates Asian American heritage and empowers future generations.
To be a premier cultural landmark that fosters inclusivity, understanding, and shared pride.
The Asian American Museum celebrates and shares the diverse stories of Asian American communities. Through dynamic exhibits, experiential and artistic programming, the museum fosters multiethnic cultural pride, educates the public, and inspires all generations to promote inclusivity and understanding.

AAMGP will pilot and expand its work through four key pillars. The Rooted in Flavor pillar will serve as an innovative bridge, connecting and amplifying programs, exhibitions, and performances.
01Exhibitions of artifacts, documents, performances, and artist collaborations that showcase creativity across Asian American communities.
02Archival research, oral history projects, and rotating exhibits that highlight the depth and diversity of Asian American heritage.
03School based programs, docent tours, and student driven initiatives guided by an Education Committee.
04A cultural learning experience that explores Asian American history, identity, and community through food.
